Fire rages at police officers’ club in central Moscow

At least two stories of a police officers’ club of the Russian Interior Ministry in central Moscow have been consumed by fire, with thick black smoke billowing from windows.

At least 25 firefighting units have been deployed to the scene.
The fire is raging in an area of at least 200 square meters on the third and fourth floors of the building, and is continuing to spread. Police have cordoned off the streets nearby, causing a major traffic jam during morning rush hour.
